1. What RMU is. RMU (Resilient Minds United) is a method for prevention in adolescent mental health created by Pía Maestri, which is offered through the platform rmuprevention.org. It allows schools to listen to their students anonymously, read a group map of the situation and choose interventions. It also includes RMU Families and Raíces, two spaces for mothers, fathers and adults responsible for an adolescent. Today they are used without an account and at no cost. If that changes, we will announce it beforehand on this page.

2. What RMU is not.

  • It is not a health service or an emergency service. In a situation of risk, the school applies its own protocol and turns to the health and emergency services in its area.
  • It does not make diagnoses or assess any individual student.
  • It does not replace the school's counseling team or health professionals.
  • RMU Families and Raíces offer guidance. They do not diagnose and they do not replace a professional consultation. Raíces is not a treatment, and no one reads or replies to what is written there.

3. Who can use it. RMU can be used by schools that accept the agreement, through the members of their team whom they invite. Students do not have an account: they answer the questionnaires with the QR code the school shows them. Only the adult members of the school's team, over 18 years of age, have an account. RMU Families and Raíces are intended for adults and are used without an account.

4. What the school takes on.

  • Informing families before giving the questionnaires, respecting those who do not want their child to take part and showing the QR code only to students who may answer. If its rules or its supervisory authority require signed authorization, the school requests it: RMU provides the template.
  • Having a protocol for situations of risk, or using RMU's First Response Guide while it prepares one.
  • Keeping its Resource map up to date.
  • Not trying to identify who answered what: the work is always with the group.
  • Protecting access to its accounts and not sharing passwords.
  • Complying with the rules of its own jurisdiction, its level and its type of management, and with what its supervisory authority requires. RMU complies with the general laws that apply to everyone; each school's additional requirements are its own responsibility.

5. What RMU takes on.

  • Maintaining the anonymity of the questionnaires and always showing the results as group summaries.
  • Protecting the data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
  • Complying with the general laws that govern its activity, in particular those on the protection of personal data and on the rights of children and adolescents.
  • Doing what is reasonable for the platform to operate continuously, without being able to guarantee that it will never have interruptions.

6. Intellectual property. The RMU method, its questionnaires, guides, workshops, texts, design and software belong to Pía Maestri. The school may use them within the program while it is active. It may not copy, sell or distribute them outside the school without written authorization.

7. Financial terms. During the founding schools' cycle, from October to December 2026, RMU is free of charge. Taking part does not oblige the school to contract RMU afterwards. If the school wishes to continue, the terms are agreed with it before the following cycle begins.

8. Suspension and withdrawal. The school may stop using RMU whenever it wishes, by giving notice by email. RMU may suspend an account if it is used in breach of these terms. On withdrawal, the data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

9. Liability. RMU offers a tool for prevention and guidance. The decisions about each situation, and their consequences, belong to the school and its professionals. In RMU Families and Raíces, the decisions about each situation belong to the responsible adults and to the professionals they consult.

10. Changes. If these terms change, we will announce it on this page and inform schools by email.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction. The laws of the Argentine Republic apply. In the event of any dispute, the ordinary courts of the Judicial Department of Mar del Plata (Partido de General Pueyrredon) have jurisdiction.
